The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Maggie Hill can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

Just a thought

My fondest memories of Aunt Maggie are a compilation of moments etched forever in my life story.  Most centered around, as children, our regular family trips from Steelton to Baltimore that seemed like every other week though it may not really have been so frequent.  Uncle Mooch would punch me in the gut and then offer for me to do the same to him (the not so old steelworker).  Aunt Maggie would scold him, "Calvin, he's just a child!"  They would then argue for a moment over who would do the cooking.  Uncle Mooch seemingly won every argument while Aunt Maggie started preparing the meal.  Then there was the crab fest we always had and make no mistake no one enjoyed this more than when Maggie and Mom (Ada) threw down.  They left no prisoners.  Aunt Mag would finish by collecting all the little crab legs for the best crab soup I've ever had to this day.  These moments and others collectively remind me of my great blessing that's been my family.

Always in Love,  Butch
