Nur Jun “Braddock” Harmon, affectionately known as “Buddy Roll,” was born on January 8, 1929 in Windsor, Virginia. He was the sixth of seven children born to the late Mary Edwards Harmon and Nur Thomas Harmon. He quietly slipped away on March 25, 2017 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Onley, Virginia.
Braddock attended and graduated from the public schools of Accomack County. Braddock was united in holy matrimony to Mary Grace Hardy on July 7, 1957 and this union was blessed with six children.
Braddock developed a love for reading and was an avid collector of all types of books. He was an adventurer and loved to travel. For his family or anyone who was willing to listen, most experiences with him were life lessons. He never stopped learning or teaching.
